Emma's First Haircut

This morning I took Emma for her first haircut. Her bangs were getting out of control and we figured that she should get a "big girl" cut before her second birthday. Emma was a little concerned when she was first sitting in the chair, but she handled it pretty well. She wasn't too big a fan of getting her bangs cut, but it was over quick. Once the blow dryer came out, she was happy again...

Mexico-Personal Pics

At the request of my wife, here are some pictures that we took while we were in Mexico:

Jill was looking particularly happy after our saga at the airport in Phoenix. I think she was just excited that they had hamburgers in Mexico...

I was warned not to drink the water, and I was super cautious. Luckily beer was plentiful and cheap.

This was the view from the patio bar at the hotel. We sat out there on our first night to watch the sunset.

Yes, you can do this kind of shot with a $5K camera too.

There was a train that ran between the two adjacent hotels on the property. I think the thing ran off a small block 350 Chevy engine, at least that's what it sounded like.

Jill at the rehearsal dinner. Isn't she cute?

And the coup de grace...one of the many poor translations that we saw down there. Needless to say, we didn't sample the cocktail winnies.

Ahh, what a fun trip! Besides the weather being what I can only describe as sauna-esque, it was a beautiful location and a wonderful experience. I'll still take 120 degrees with no humidity here in AZ any day!

Saturday at the Zoo

This morning we decided to take a trip to the zoo. The mornings are still a little bit warm, but definitely not anything like summer mornings. The nice thing about having a zoo membership is that we can take a quick trip up there and not feel like we have to spend the whole day to get our money's worth. Emma is finally appreciating the different animals and she loves the monkey house. She also now totally honed in on the carousel near the exit of the zoo. Thank goodness Jill had some change in her purse to appease her or it would have been a long car ride home.

Amy & Bryan's Mexican Wedding

Warning-Lots of Photos Below!

Jill and I went down to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico this weekend so that I could photograph Amy and Bryan's wedding. I love capturing the things at weddings that make them a little different and this one had a ton of those moments. From being on a beach in Mexico, to fireworks after the first dance, to a powerlifting wedding presider, it was chock full of memorable moments. I have tons of images to go through, but these are some of my favorites from my first run-through of them:
