Swimsuit Season

It's getting warm around here, so today we put Emma in her swimsuit and let her play in the yard with the sprinklers. She wasn't all that excited about getting sprayed by the water, but she loved stomping on the puddles on the ground. Check out the sweet farmer's tan...

Potty Time

Emma has been fascinated with the toilet lately, so we've been taking advantage of the opportunity to sit her on there and get her ready to transition out of diapers. She hasn't gone in the potty yet, but I have a feeling it's going to happen soon.

Baby Luke

Farewell Samson

This morning Samson, our dog of 4+ years had to take a ride to the Humane Society. We've been trying for more than two months to find him a new home, but there isn't a lot of interest in an older dog. We feel we've made a good choice though because we just weren't able to give him the time and attention that he needed now that Emma is getting older (and more mobile). I'm sure that he will make another family very happy. Good luck in your new home Samson.

MacBook

Jill broke down today and let me get the MacBook Pro that I've been bugging her about for months.  I'm super excited to use it even though I've been a PC person for most of my life and I totally feel like a fish out of water with this thing.  It is amazingly fast, especially when it comes to working with photos.  The images above are a few from this weekend that I sucked off the camera just to try things out.  Sorry if they're huge-I'm trying to figure Aperture (the editing program) out and the resize feature was evading me.  Off to bed before Jill thinks that she's lost me to Steve Jobs!
