Josh's First Swim

Yesterday we finally got the chance to give Josh a swim in the pool. He was a little upset by the temperature at first but he handled it pretty well after a minute. I'm sure he'll be a swimming fiend in no time like his sister.

Swim Lessons

This summer we decided to enroll Emma in swim lessons. Emma finished her first class a few weeks ago and I never got a chance to go take pictures of her in the pool with mommy. Now she is in a class without us needing to be in the pool with her. I had the chance to take her this morning and here are some images from her class. She does great in the water and she's such a good little student.

Nice Evening

Holy cow, it's been almost three weeks since I've posted anything on here. Work has been insane and I've been coming home way too tired to work on pictures. These images are from last week when the cooler weather was still around. We got back from running errands and gave the kids a little time outside. The weather has really started to heat up over the last week and the monsoon storms are looming, so there probably won't be too many more of these evenings for a while.

Smiles

Josh is so full of smiles these days. Any time he hears a familiar voice or sees someone he knows, he gets the biggest grin on his face. I guess he is starting to show his personality. I don't remember his sister being this smiley at this age. Maybe he's so happy because he's finally learned how to sleep better...

Pool Time 2009

I've been slacking bad about posting anything on here lately. Part of the reason is that I just haven't had much of a chance to take the camera out of the bag lately. I've been working like crazy with a new system at work and coming home beat every day. I took the camera over to the grandparent's house on Sunday hoping to get some pictures of Josh's first pool adventure, but he slept through our whole time out there and we decided the water was way too cold for him anyway. So here we are with some more pictures of Emma playing around the pool. Oh well, I can't complain.

I took these frames last week after Jill was complaining about how she never makes it onto the blog. I quickly busted out the camera and started snapping away. Aren't they cute?

Josh's Baptism

Here are a few images from Joshua's baptism last weekend. Thanks to Carlos Weaver for shooting the occasion for us. Josh was a champ about the whole thing and we had a great little party afterward.
