Easter

Here's a few images from Easter. Everyone came over to our house for lunch and we had a great time. In the late afternoon, Jill and I tried to take Emma down to the park to get some pictures of her in her Easter dress. As you can see by the first picture, she wasn't in the mood to pose. She made a quick dash to the playground and her attitude quickly improved. Hope everyone had a great Easter!

Playing

These are a few pictures from Saturday of Emma playing in the back yard and getting ready to go on a bike ride. Emma loves being on the bike and making her dad winded when he has to pedal quicker as she demands "vroom, vroom!"

Lin's Wedding-Film Images

I just got the negatives and scans back from Lin's wedding. Here's a few of the images. It was fun to shoot film again-it's been a long time. Film images have such a different feel to them compared to digital. All images were made on the Contax G2 with T-Max 3200 film.

Sick Again...

It seems like we just got over an ear infection and here comes another one. Emma had a rough weekend, so she spent most of today getting some sleep. Mom was her favorite pillow for the day as you can see. Too bad she's not this much of a cuddle bug when she's feeling well. Let's hope this is the last ear infection of the season. It would stink for her to get better after all of this beautiful weather has passed and we're in the 100-plus degree days.

Too Much Goin' On

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here. I've given Emma a little break from being the main photography subject for the last few weeks. I've had a couple of shoots lately that have kept me busy. There's a few new pictures in the albums on my website if you feel the need to see what I've been up to.

On another note, Jill and I celebrate our 4 year anniversary tomorrow. It's hard to believe that it has been that long already. The last couple have flown by courtesy of Emma. We both have jury duty tomorrow (long story) so we'll be having a killer time.

Sunglasses-Part 2

We swung by Target today and I bought Emma a new pair of sunglasses. We figured we would try a regular pair without the straps and see how she did. Unfortunately, the glasses were attached to a piece of cardboard in the store so we really didn't scrutinize how they fit. Turns out that they hang off Emma's tiny nose, but she still loved them. Some of the girls in the neighborhood spotted her and figured she needed a few more accessories. I'm scared, it's starting already!

Last Week

It seems like the more Emma moves around, the less time I get to spend in front of the computer. Here's a few images from the last week or so:

Along with walking comes falling, and Emma has done her fair share of that lately. Luckily they forget what happened quickly at this age..

Emma settles in for a little Wiggles first thing after waking up in the morning. It's the one thing that will keep her still for more than five minutes at a time.

We were finally able to get the sunglasses on her, which is very timely because it has been bright outside. She did a little posing in her favorite play area (aka our neighbor's yard.)
