Morning at Bounce Jungle

Emma has a play group that usually meets on Monday mornings. It's been a while since everyone has been together, but there was a meeting this morning at an indoor bounce house by us. Since I had the day off I got to tag along and spend some time bouncing and taking pictures. Emma was much more into the whole thing this time and she did really well with everything except for climbing the slides. She loves going down them but doesn't really like the effort it takes to get up there in the first place. These are a few of my favorite images from the morning.

Play Date With Luke

Emma and Luke have a regular play date every week. I got to tag along this time and check it out. Their time together pretty much consists of Luke chilling in his stroller and Emma running around like a wild woman. I got tired of chasing Emma around trying to take some pictures of her and Luke proved a much more compliant subject. It took him a while to get used to someone putting a huge camera in his face, but he got the poses down once he was ready.

Messy Dessert

These are from a couple of nights ago after Emma had finished her dessert. Her face looks cleaner in the second image because she rubbed her face off with her hands which are conveniently hidden under the table.

Jill Maternity Pics

Last week I borrowed some lighting equipment so that I could take some maternity pictures of Jill. It was a little different from what I'm used to shooting, but it was fun (especially since Jill has been talking about wanting maternity pictures of the next baby since before we were pregnant.) Jill said I could post them to the blog, but she got a little worried that some people might be offended by the fact that they were, uh nude. Tea Party

Here's a few images from our little tea party this evening. Emma was in full dress up mode with the tiara and high heels. She loves serving tea for her mommy and daddy.

Bubbles

I've been meaning to post something lately, but I really haven't picked up the camera in the last few weeks. I did some shooting over the last few days, so the camera was out when we took Emma out to blow bubbles this evening. The light was great as the sun went down and the weather for the last week has been remarkable. If it stays this nice out, I'm sure my camera will be out of the bag quite a bit more.

Starting '09 at the Zoo

We went to the zoo on Friday with my parents. The weather was great and there were tons of animals out. Emma had a blast in the petting zoo and walking around with everyone.
