More Pool Fun

There's a community pool in our neighborhood that Jill and I always seem to forget about. We finally took a trip down there on Monday and Emma had a good time. She enjoyed walking around the edge of the pool counting the tiles and stepping on them. Pretty soon she'll be jumping in the pool on her own...

Makeup

Emma loves makeup. She is obsessed with lip gloss, lipstick, chap stick, lotion, or any other beauty product. She found her way into Jill's makeup bag this morning and the pictures above are what Emma managed to do to herself. Keep in mind that yesterday was the first time that she ever saw her mom use mascara. I think she caught on pretty quick...

Bounce House

Today we went to a birthday party at a bounce party place. Emma has never been in a bounce house, so she was a little unsure at first. Once she got her footing, she started to warm up. Here's a few images from the day.

Cousins

Jill is watching some of Emma's cousins during the summer. Emma is loving the fact that she has some playmates around. Here's a frame of them playing with bubbles in the sink yesterday.

In the Pool

Yesterday was my day off and we spent the afternoon in the pool at the Wiemann's. The water was perfect and Emma had a great time. Jill was amazed that I was brave enough to venture into the water with my camera. Anything for a good frame...

4th of July

For the Fourth of July we took a trip to California to hang out with our friends Eric and Karen. They have a party every year for the Fourth and we were finally able to make it out this year. Emma was in love with all the animals that they have around their ranch. She managed to wear herself out every day that we were there because she was running around so darn much. Unfortunately for us, that meant that she was in bed by 7 on the night of fireworks, so I didn't get to take any pictures like I was hoping to. All in all it was a great time, but it will be a while before we take a five hour car ride with Emma again.
